Haravlelya Pattyancha Banglaa Natak Story

The natak starts with the introduction of Indira, played brilliantly by Vandana Gupte, an elderly widow who lives with a paying guest, Nidhi (played by Dipti Lele), in her big and beautiful flat. Indira struggles to accept the modern ways of life and eagerly waits for her son and his family to come and live with her.

One day, she receives the news that her daughter (played by Prateeksha Lonkar) Ira’s son, Ishan, is coming to live with her. Indira gets very happy hearing this. However, she is unaware of Ira’s true intentions. Ira asks her mother to remove Nidhi and let her son stay in that room as he is starting college soon. Sadly, hearing this, Nidhi starts worrying about a new place to live and asks Indira for help.

As the curtain opens, in the first half of Haravlelya Pattyancha Banglaa, we see Ira taking charge of the household and taking Indira for granted for each and everything. Nidhi, who is struggling to get a job to provide a good life for her mother, notices Ira’s behaviour towards Indira. She tries to talk to her about it. However, Ira brushes her off and does not take Nidhi seriously.

In the second half, we see Nidhi making a desperate attempt to make Indira realize that she is entitled to live her life on her own terms. She tells Indira that she needs to stand up for herself and not let others dictate her life. Even if it’s her own daughter. Indira initially hesitates, but with Nidhi’s support, she starts to question the status quo.

Now what happens next in this mother-daughter relationship is something you must watch yourself in the upcoming shows of Haravlelya Pattyancha Banglaa.
