Jyachi Tyachi Love Story – At some point in time, we all might have at least one or other love story in our lives. Now this could be literally anything at any time. For some, a love story might be one of their best choices, for some, it might be a factor to neglect, for some, it might be a starting point somewhere, for some, it might be their last thing to do.

Well, “A Love Story” can have multiple meanings, interpretations, and impact on a person’s life. What do we take out from that love story? Good or Bad? Again, it depends from person to person. Taking this as a central plot we have a very newly launched Marathi Natak Jyachi Tyachi Love Story that surrounds around the “Love Stories” of 3 couples.

Jyachi Tyachi Love Story Marathi Natak – Summary

Jyachi Tyachi Love Story, written by Rushikant Raut, comes with its own unique charm and an exciting surprise—it marks the return of Priyadarshan Jadhav to the Marathi Theatre after a long time, this time as a director! Watching a Marathi Natak directed by Priyadarshan Jadhav is a rare treat, especially when we’ve mostly known him as an actor.

Seeing him as an actor and seeing him as a director of a Marathi Play is just something beautiful in itself. Adding on, I must say, after watching Natak completely, he has done his part correctly and aptly.

Furthermore, in terms of Jyachi Tyachi Love Story’s story/plot, then it’s quite a good one. Just to give you a gist, the story of the Jyachi Tyachi Love Story revolves around three couples who meet each other at the Bougainvilla Resort in Matheran.

Jyachi Tyachi Love Story

Amit (Played by Rohit), the caretaker of a resort, is joined by his corporate friend Priya (played by Sharvari). They are soon accompanied by a couple, Prakash (played by Purnanad) and Aarti (played by Sharmila), who have come from the village for their honeymoon. Prakash is a modern yet traditional farmer, while his new bride Aarti is a popular social media influencer. Aarti is a perfect depiction of today’s youth, whose lives are all surrounded by social media and its presence. (One of my favourite and the best characters of the Natak)

The main focus of the story is on Shalaka (played by Suruchi Adarkar), who arrives at the resort to seek a break and a short vacation after her recent divorce, and her old college friend Vivek (played by Suyash). Vivek is also the owner of the Bougainvilla Resort.

Each of them is dealing with their own struggles in life—something that keeps their minds occupied and leaves them overthinking. One day, by a twist of fate or a tragic incident, all six of them end up at the same place—the resort.

All these three couples meet each other and start discussing about the issues and grudges of their life.

However, things start getting complicated during the discussions. Aarti is busy shooting reels during her honeymoon, Priya is handling a critical project and trying to sort out issues with her boss at the job, and Shalaka is trying to momentarily escape her complicated personal life after the plans of divorce. Unexpected circumstances force these characters to stay together, impacting their lives in surprising ways.

And that’s when the actual “Love Story Starts”, what happens when these people meet? What discussions, conclusions and events take place afterwards? Well, to know what happens next, you must watch their upcoming shows.

Special Moments Of Jyachi Tyachi Love Story

Bougainvilla Resort Set –

Jyachi Tyachi Love Story

Some aspects of this Natak, including its artists are done so beautifully that it just enhances the entire time and experience of watching this Natak.

Let’s start with the set design. The set of Jyachi Tyachi Love Story is created by the renowned and well-known Marathi Natak set designer (नेपथ्यकार), Sandesh Bendre. When I saw his name on the first poster and banner reveal of this Natak, I instantly knew that this Natak would also have an impressive and perfectly fitting set—and I wasn’t wrong!

Sandesh Bendre has done a fantastic job of bringing a resort to life on stage. He has accurately created a whole Resort type set which is great. The attention to detail and the overall vibe of the set make it truly captivating and spot-on for the story.

Aarti & Patil’s Chemistry –

Moving on to the performances, every artist and actor has done a fantastic job bringing their characters to life. But if there’s one pair that will truly stick with you then it has to be Aarti and Prakash Patil, played by Sharmila Rajaramshinde and Purnanand Wandhekar respectively.

Their characters are an absolute delight—funny, entertaining, cute and so memorable that they’ve been living rent-free in my mind ever since I watched the play. Even being completely opposite to each other, they come together as a married couple in the most endearing, cute, and hilarious way.

It’s hard to put their expressions and chemistry into words here in the blog but trust me, once you watch Jyachi Tyachi Love Story Natak, you’ll fall in love with these two. A big shoutout to Sharmila and Purnanand for delivering such brilliant performances!

Gorgeously Written by Rushikant Raut –

Jyachi Tyachi Love Story

Every Marathi Natak’s foundation stands on how strong and powerful it is written. And I must say, Jyachi Tyachi Love Story is also written very pretily. Some of the dialogues of this natak are still stuck in my mind.

Indeed, some things that I mentioned here are going to be understood best when experienced live. So, if you’re looking for a cheerful way to spend your time or simply want to relax and enjoy a charming and wholesome Marathi Play then Jyachi Tyachi Love Story is definitely the one to go for!
