Bai Wadyatun Jaa is a horror, comedy & thrill-packed new Marathi Natak starring Digambar Naik and Sonali Patil. The story of Bai Wadyatun Jaa Natak revolves around six people who get trapped inside the house (Wada). The Natak showcases the ways in which these six people find their way out of the house. But in a very sweet, comedy, and cheerful way.
Luckily, I got a chance to watch Bai Wadyatun Jaa, and this is my personal review blog of it.

Bai Wadyatun Jaa Natak Story
Bai Wadyatun Jaa, directed & written by Sanket Tandel, is a horror, thrill, and comedy Natak. The story of this Natak revolves around a big empty House, a mansion (Wada) that is up for sale as it has been empty for the past few years.

As the curtain unfolds, you see two people planning to steal something from the house as it is opening its door to the people who are coming to purchase the House (Wada). Additionally, with these two planning to steal something from the House (Wada), two other people enter the House (Wada) with a plan to blackmail the purchaser of the house.
But, just as when things seem to start, a little twist throws everyone here and there. The things that the blackmailer had planned for the potential buyer mistakenly happened to the thieves.
Moreover, as the woman who seeks to purchase the House (Wada) enters, she witnesses that something is wrong with the thieves. Seeing the thieves here and there because of the blackmailers, everyone gets confused, setting a comedic chain of events that happens because of the situation they are put in. It is basically a situational comedy.
Now, there are a total of six people inside the House (Wada). Due to the past history of the House being haunted and today being the most haunted & special night for the House & its past owners, the housekeeper warns all of them to leave the house as soon as possible.
But why does the Housekeeper warn everyone to leave the house as soon as possible?
Furthermore, as everyone tries to escape from the house, suddenly, all the entrances of the house gets closed, and everyone gets trapped inside the house. And that’s how the mysteious planing of escaping out from the house starts.
As these six people have to solve their way out of the House, it is not as simple as it looks.
So what happens next? How do these people find their way out?
Well, to know the mystery behind this haunted house and the past that it beholds, it is something you need to watch in one of their upcoming shows of Bai Wadyatun Jaa.

Firstly, the main title song of Bai Wadyatun Jaa Natak is like a magnet. The Natak itself has a very powerful and strong title song that will grab your attention in such a way that the title song just sticks in your head even after the Natak ends.
In addition to this, the Natak also has a few dances and songs that adds more authenticity to the entire show. In addition to this, the set design of Bai Wadyatun Jaa Natak resembles just like an old royal mansion. The set beautifully complements the period of the plot, enhancing the overall experience.

Secondly, kudos to the director & writer of Bai Wadyatun Jaan Natak – Sanket Tandel. The plot of this Natak unfolds very seamlessly, revealing a complex Natak with such ease.
The story of this Natak is not only unique but also beautifully written, featuring perfectly timed situational comedic events that will keep you engaged throughout. Indeed, it is genuinely different from the Nataks that are already running around today.
3. A Sweet Balance of Horror, Thrill, Fear, & Super Fast Comedy
Thirdly, Bai Wadyatun Jaa has a perfect balance of Horror, Thrill, Fear, & Comedy, making it a full experience for the audience.
As the director Sanket mentioned in his video interview with us, “Bai Wadyatun Jaa is just like a 70 MM Natak, where at each & every moment something or the other is happening in the Natak. It is just like a superfast comedy.”
4. A Powerful & Unanticipated Ending
Fourth, without any doubt, having a powerful and impactful ending is truly one of the most important aspects of any play. A few plays might be doing great with their entire storyline, but sometimes, they might struggle to give the play a proper end. This clearly lies in the hands of the writer and the director.
But surprisingly, this is not what you would see in Bai Wadyatun Jaa Marathi Natak. The end scene of this Natak justifies why it is actually “Bai Wadyatun Jaa”, along with an unanticipated ending twist.
Therefore, Bai Wadyatun Jaa is indeed worth watching.
