Baap Kunacha Taap Kuna a newly launched Marathi Natak is all set to provide you with full-on entertainment and enjoyment.
This Natak is a “Farce” and it is purely based on providing you with a non-stop 2 hrs of continuous entertainment and laughter to its audience.
As our beloved artist, Vijay Gokhale said during his interview with VeryFirstTale as, “प्रेक्षकांना हसवणं आणि त्यांचं मनोरंजन करणं , हेच या नाटकाचं मूळ आहे.”
The team of Baap Kunacha Tap Kuna is packed with a very powerful cast and backend team starring Santosh Pawar, Vijay Gokhale, Dhanashri Kadgaonkar, Prshant Nigde and many more such powerful artists. This Natak is packed with entertainment and is a complete laughter game, thanks to Santosh Pawar’s brilliant comedic performance. The audience truly enjoys the comedy created through the chaos and confusion around the characters.
I got a chance to cover their 2nd opening show at Yashwant Natya Mandir, Matunga and I myself enjoyed the non-stop entertainment. Thus, here is my blog review of the Marathi Natak – Baap Kunacha Taap Kuna!

Baap Kunacha Taap Kuna – Story
First and foremost, the story of Baap Kunacha Taap Kuna Marathi Play is based on a complete “Farce”. A farce is basically a funny and comedy play based on chaotic and confusion-oriented comedy. Thus, it is a full-on comedy entertainer with a slight hint of suspense, as well, in the end.
But to give you an idea of the plot, then the story of Baap Kunacha Taap Kuna revolves around Mandar (Played by Santosh Pawar) and his wife, Manjiri (Played by Varda Salunke), who seem like a perfect couple. As Manjiri gets ready to visit her parents’ home in Bhor, Mandar jokes about bringing a new wife / girl while in his life she’s (Manjiri) away from home, just to convince her to stay. Manjiri, amused, laughs it off and heads to her parent’s place, thinking it’s all just a joke.
But Mandar, eager to win his bet, decides to take the joke a step further. He calls his friend Nanda (Played by Prashant Nigde), who is known for his mischievous ways. Nanda sends over a beautiful woman named Roma (Played by Dhanashri Kadgaonkar) to Mandar’s house.
This is where the real fun begins! With Roma’s arrival, the play kicks off into a whirlwind of comedy, confusion, and unexpected twists. The laughs keep coming as the characters get tangled up in a web of mistaken identities, secrets, and situations.
